Herb joined our staff in July of 2012 and is the Campus Pastor for our Hanover Campus.  He has extensive experience in small group leadership and church planting in both Maryland and California and loves bringing that experience to Crosswind Church.

Herb grew up in Carroll County and has served most of his ministry in this area.  He earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from LIFE Pacific College in Los Angeles, CA, and has pursued graduate studies in Practical Theology at Regent University in VA Beach.  Herb also has an Associate of Science degree in Nursing and is currently working as a Registered Nurse for Penn-Mar Human Services.  He also holds Ordained Bishop Credentials through the Church of God (Cleveland, TN).

Herb and his wife, Emily, met in Carroll County and have been married since 1997.  They have a beautiful daughter named Bethany. Herb and Emily share a message of the grace, redemption, and growth that God can bring to a marriage. In addition to spending time with his family, Herb enjoys video games, all-things-Tolkien, roller-skating, movies, and other nerd hobbies. He is also a long-suffering Orioles fan.
