Mark Sparks has been a part of Crosswind since 2005 and has served as Youth Pastor, Discipleship Pastor, Children's Pastor, and currently as the Pastor of Family Ministries with a focus on our Middle School Ministry.  He's also our resident graphic design and website guy, and hopes to one day take over the worship ministry from Mike Ferrante (ok, not really, he just likes to joke about it!)

Mark is originally from New Castle, DE but has also lived in North Carolina, West Virginia, and Maryland.  He has a Bachelor's Degree in Theology and spent 5 years as a part of a Ministry Training Program for college students known as The Mission. 

Mark enjoys catching up on the latest movies, playing volleyball, working with pre-teen and middle school students, collecting Sharpies & playing cards, and most importantly, red velvet cake!

Pop-tarts, Twizzlers, & Gobstoppers!

What is your favorite fictional character & why?

Yoda from Star Wars.  Because he's wise, humble, stronger than he looks, and always challenges people to grow beyond what they think they are able.

Beach or mountains?

The beach!  Along with a jeep and his Golden Retriever, Cooper.

What makes you cry quicker than anything?

Onions.

What is your guilty "nerd" pleasure?

The Legend of Zelda & movie soundtracks.
