David Sulcer has been the lead pastor of Crosswind for over 15 years. He has been an ordained bishop in the Church of God since 1993. In 1994 David became the pastor of Crosswind (previously known as Westminster Church of God). Under his leadership Crosswind has grown from a small group of about 70 people to a strong congregation of over 500 members.

 David grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and was called to the ministry at the age of 16. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Historical studies from Lee University, in Cleveland, Tennessee. He has pastored in Maryland for over 22 years and loves Carroll County more than any place he has ever lived.

David met and married his wife, Debbie, at Lee University over 28 years ago and has three children, Morgan, Taylor, and Meredith, all in their twenties, along with two wonderful grandchildren, Bryce and Brooke. He loves college football and the NFL, along with good movies and great books.
